A hands-on workshop on human neural assembloids
Supported by the Stanford Brain Organogenesis Program in the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute & Bio-X
|
This one week-long practical course will provide training to participants in 3D in vitro study of neural development and disease modeling.
Topics this year will be focused on advanced assays and include among others: human stem cell maintenance, generation of 3D neural organoids and assembloids, quality controls, genetic engineering, functional imaging, electrophysiology, transcriptomics, interrogation of complex phenotypes, etc. |
|
As the focus is on advanced assays this year, applicants must have prior experience with stem cells and neural organoid culture, and must be early career (graduate student, post-doctoral fellow, or equivalent) at an academic or non-profit institution.
